There are those evenings that linger. Not because they are great, but precisely because they are small. Authentic. Real. SYLVA is one of those evenings.
On an estate in the lee of the polder, among trees that whisper and a sky that slowly turns dark, a special experience begins. An evening of taste, peace and good company.
The people behind SYLVA – chef Thor, farmer Rick and experience designer Garo – will take you on an outdoor culinary evening. It starts with a walk through the garden, a drink in your hand, the evening sun on your face. Then you slide in for a seven-course dinner at long tables under the trees. Everything is prepared over an open fire, with ingredients that are currently growing and freshly harvested. We eat outside, surrounded by birdsong and the gentle rustle of leaves.
After dinner, there is fire. No rush, no music, no schedule. And when the evening extinguishes by itself, a bed awaits you: in a wooden cabin or a tent among the greenery. You sleep in nature as we ate, surrounded by nature.
The next morning you wake up to birdsong instead of an alarm clock. A fresh, simple breakfast is waiting for you. Then you say goodbye – or stay for one last walk around the estate. You leave when it feels right.

A gift to never forget! We received the Sylva Forest Dining package at Yugen Forest as a wedding gift – and what a magical experience it was. A warm welcome, waking up in a cozy cabin, a star-level dinner in the middle of a beech avenue, AND learning about regenerative agriculture from farmer Rik. Everything is right here: the food, the atmosphere, the people, the vision.
Highly recommended for those who want to slow down, taste and connect.
Be sure to sign up for the next Sylva event in August – you won ‘t regret it!
