No private electric charging stations are available on the Yūgen Forest property (yet). However, there are public charging stations in the area – six public charging stations have been installed in the municipality of Dronten at locations such as Waterfront and Popart – where you can charge your car in advance or afterwards.

Yūgen Forest is a spacious estate, but we carefully guard the tranquility and atmosphere of each group. In consultation, we ensure that your program does not overlap with other events. For exclusive rentals, you are naturally the only group present.
Yūgen Forest offers 20 cozy glamping tents, 10 eco-cabins and a tiny house. Each place has two comfortable beds with quality mattresses, warm comforters and extra blankets. The eco-cabins and tiny house also have a wood-burning stove. There is also space on the camping field for your own tents or campers. In total, there is room for up to 150 overnight guests.
Several cabins and locations are wheelchair and walker accessible. Adapted restrooms are also available. Let us know in advance what is needed, and we will ensure a welcoming and accessible experience.
The glamping tents and offgrid eco-cabins do not have their own bathroom facilities, running water or electricity. For these guests, there are shared, luxury bathroom facilities on site – clean, spacious and surrounded by greenery. The tiny house does have a private shower, toilet, kitchen, running water and electricity.
We love animals, but to ensure the peace, safety and nature on the estate, pets are in principle not allowed. In consultation we make an exception for assistance dogs.
Basically, no. We work with ingredients from our own garden as much as possible and coordinate the menu with our kitchen team to avoid waste and cook seasonally. This is an essential part of our regenerative vision. In special cases, we are happy to think along with you.
For small groups or private moments, there is sometimes room to bring your own food or drinks. For larger groups or full meals, we work exclusively with our kitchen team or regular partners. This way we maintain quality, rhythm and connection to the land.
Only by agreement, and provided they fit within our vision of ecology, simplicity and local food. Think of a mobile wood oven or a game picking bar. There is limited power supply, so we are happy to look at options together.
To ensure the tranquility of the estate and its surroundings, most events end no later than 11 p.m. For overnight events, there is room afterwards for a quiet bonfire or closing in silence. Amplified music is not permitted after 10 p.m.
Amplified music is allowed on a limited basis and always by mutual agreement. We ask respect for the natural environment, our neighbors and other guests. Acoustic music, sound tours or soft DJ sets during the day are possible within the agreed framework.
Sure. You may bring your own decorations, as long as they match our natural environment and do not leave any damage or waste. Think fabric flags, flowers or light garlands. We prefer not to use confetti, balloons or plastic decor.
Yes, Yūgen Forest is an official wedding venue within the Municipality of Dronten. With us, you can get married outdoors, surrounded by forest and silence. For a legal marriage, filling out a form from the municipality is required. We are happy to guide you through this application.

Yūgen Forest is located on Roggebotstaete Estate, which is publicly accessible on designated hiking trails. You are welcome to hike on the marked bird walking trail, which starts at the parking lot. This route is freely accessible between sunrise and sunset. Dogs are allowed, if leashed. The remaining area – off the hiking trail – is open to guests with reservations or by appointment only.

Yūgen Forest works regeneratively: we restore ecosystems, grow food without pesticides, build with natural materials and are fossil-free in our management. We do not carry formal certification (yet), but our approach is rooted in ecological principles and transparency. We are happy to let you experience this for yourself during your visit.
