Planting action by students MBO-College Lelystad

If we really want to make a sustainable and regenerative impact, just planting trees to capture CO2 is not enough. For example, a healthy forest consists of 6 more layers besides trees, including shrubs, herbs, mycelium and ground cover. Therefore, we need to take a more holistic approach and also think about soil wildlife and insects.

JTI planted a bio-diversity wooded bank with 2050 plants

On Dec. 1, 2022, JT International visited us for a planting day, where we planted a wooded bank with 2050 plants (and more than 75 species). A wooded bank is a dense and biodiverse hedge, on an elevation/taluda, with multiple ecological functions and values.
