Someone who makes a bed with attention, enters a room and feels what is still missing, and takes pride in the moment when everything is right. That the guest enters and immediately relaxes without knowing why.

What you will do
You lead the team
- You will coordinate and supervise cleaners during turnover shifts.
- Together you form a well-oiled flow: plumbing, linens, tent layout, final styling.
- You are the first point of contact, the calm anchor figure who gives others direction.

- You see the difference between clean and truly cared for.
- From neatly folded plaid to fresh flowers in the vase, every detail tells Yūgen’s story.
- You run the final check. If you sign off, it’s right.
Je beheert linnengoed en voorraden
- You will monitor linen inventory and place timely orders.
- The cleaning stations remain in order under your care.
Je werkt door het hele natuurgebied
- From the Greenhouse to the Slot, from the Tipi to the glamping tents and the sanitary building, you know every nook and cranny.
- You work exclusively with ecological cleaning agents, because here the earth is not a resource but our teacher.
- You identify what needs attention and communicate this to the site manager.
During events: roll up your sleeves in the kitchen
When the place is buzzing, the kitchen is buzzing too. Then you (by arrangement) roll up your sleeves as a dishwasher, because at Yūgen Forest no one is too big for small tasks and together we carry the place.
Your rhythm
The seasons set our pace. Spring and summer bring full days, bustling weekends, the murmur of people arriving and leaving.
- 10 to 20 hours per week, with more hours (by agreement) possible in peak season.
- Both weekends and weekdays, depending on the program.
- Yūgen Forest is a seasonal location, but we hope you will stay.
For when autumn brings its silence back over the natural area, Yūgen lives and breathes through. And needs people who are rooted here.
Who you are
- You have an eye for detail as well as the bigger picture.
- You lead with calm, work with pride and understand that a cared-for space can also be a healing space.
- You are reliable, independent and proactive. When you’re there, everyone knows it’s right.
- You feel at home outside, in a conscious and restful environment.
- You live in the Dronten region (max. 30 km).
- You have proven experience in housekeeping and know how to manage a team. You don’t have to have been a manager, but you know the work inside out.
What we offer you
- A workplace in a special natural area, in the middle of Flevoland nature.
- €17.50 to €19.00 gross per hour, graded on experience.
- Travel allowance of €0.23/km.
