Hospitality star
As a hospitality star, you will welcome our guests making sure the venues and accommodations look tip-top, that there is plenty of wood in stock, fresh flowers on the tables, everyone knows where to go and the coffee is ready.
Are you flexible, accurate, stress-resistant even when there is a lot on your mind? Do you like being a hostess/host to welcome people and show them around? Are you also willing to contribute in keeping the public areas clean and tidy? Do you speak the English language? Are you good with computers? Then we are looking for you!
We think it is super important that our guests are taken care of and feel welcome and we think it is equally important that you can do your job well so we will take good care of you! There are plenty of opportunities for advancement and lots to learn about nature management and nature-inclusive and regenerative agriculture.
Duties and responsibilities
- First point of contact for all customer and participant inquiries.
- Representing the face of Yūgen Forest to clients and participants
- Being all all-rounder for all sorts of issues that may come up during the clients’ stay.
- Welcoming groups, checking in and providing a warm welcome with key information about their stay.

- Relevant work experience in similar position.
- A cordial and customer-oriented attitude.
- Able to connect well with a diversity of people.
- Being proactive in seeking solutions.
- Familiar with hospitality and able to always see opportunities to make the customer’s stay more enjoyable.
- Able to do physical work and lift heavy things.
- Able to handle all customer or participant inquiries efficiently and appropriately.
- Accuracy and flexibility.
- Willingness to work weekends

Who we are
Yūgen Forest has settled on Roggebotsteate estate, an insanely beautiful 52-hectare estate in Dronten. We welcome more and more groups who want to stay at the estate for one or more days and who connect with our mission: to increase mental well-being by restoring the connection between man and nature.
Yūgen Forest is a social limited liability company. This means that although we are commercial, we make investments in biodiversity, education and research with our profits. In everything we do we are looking for meaningful win-win situations, for people, organization and nature.
In order to make this estate even more beautiful in the future and to allow as many people as possible to experience the beauty of the outdoors and what it does to you, we are going to build here climate positively in the coming years. There will be spaces for retreats, ceremonies as well as business meetings and overnight accommodations for 100 people. In short, a place in full development.
