A slow and soulful journey through food, fire, and forest at Yūgen Forest
Step out of the noise and into the still rhythm of nature. Rooted is a multi-day retreat designed to nourish you from the inside out — through elemental food, embodied rest, and the quiet beauty of the land.
At the heart of this retreat is the table. Each meal is a sensory ritual, crafted from fresh ingredients grown in Yūgen’s regenerative gardens, foraged from the wild, or sourced from nearby farms. You’ll taste the seasons, cook over open fire, and explore food not just as sustenance — but as connection, creativity, and ceremony. From fermentation to intuitive cooking, every bite is rooted in place and intention.
Surrounding this culinary core is deep wellness. Daily sauna sessions, hot tubs, and forest plunges offer elemental reset. Movement practices, forest bathing and guided breath anchor you into your body. There’s space for stillness, space for story, and space to simply be.
Whether you join us for three or five days, Rooted invites you to slow down, eat with reverence, and let the land bring you back to yourself — from soil to soul, from breath to being.
