Every Friday from late May to late November, a vegetable box is ready for you at the nature estate. Four to six types of seasonal vegetables from our regenerative market garden in Flevoland, sometimes supplemented with herbs, fruit, or a forgotten variety. You eat with the rhythm of nature and contribute to a landscape that grows richer every season.
Our regenerative market garden feeds the kitchen of Yūgen Forest. What remains, and what grows specifically for you, goes to our participants in the vegetable boxes. No anonymous vegetable box being delivered, but a weekly moment where you come to the place where your food comes from.
You won’t just taste familiar flavors, but also old and forgotten varieties that you won’t easily find in the supermarket. Flavors that suit our land and how we grow: without pesticides, without artificial fertilizers, on PFAS-free soil.
What's in your box?
Two sizes, freshly composed every week. The season lasts 27 weeks, from May 29th to November 27th.
Small box: at least four types of seasonal vegetables
Standard box: at least six types of seasonal vegetables
Sometimes supplemented with herbs, fruit, or a forgotten variety.
Every week you will receive updates from the garden via email, along with recipes to fully enjoy your box.
Sliding scale pricing.
You sign up for a subscription of twenty boxes and choose which Fridays you pick them up. Want all twenty-seven weeks? That is possible for an additional fee. Three price levels apply to each size, so everyone can choose what fits their budget.
Small box, from €10 per week. Standard box, from €15 per week. Prefer to get to know us first? The trial box gives you four Fridays in June for €75.

Gifting a season.
A vegetable box is a beautiful gift for someone who loves honest food, or for someone you want to give something sustainable that lasts twenty-seven weeks. Send us an email via info@yugenforest.nl and we will arrange it together, including a personal message to the recipient.
Helping out in the garden.
When picking up, you are welcome to take a look around the garden. If you want to go further, you can join our regular volunteer moments on Tuesday and Thursday mornings, or join the monthly nature work days. With your hands in the soil, you really feel what you are part of.
