Hidden among the trees lies our outdoor location, the Boskamer. Surrounded by greenery and fresh air, yet comfortably sheltered from the elements thanks to the canopy and two spacious, waterproof stretch tents. The fire pits invite you to gather, share stories, or connect in silence.

The BBQ area and wood-fired pizza oven offer endless indulgence, while dining at long tables in the beech avenue is a magical and unforgettable experience. This location is suitable for larger teams, retreats, weddings, and events for up to 120 people. The setup is flexible: the Boskamer offers space for whatever wants to emerge.

Who is the Boskamer suitable for?

This location invites active working methods, strategy days, ceremonies, or informal celebrations. Adjacent is an open field of 1,200 m² overlooking the orchard: ideal for outdoor sessions or larger programs.

A complete experience

Yūgen Forest is not a standard event location. It is a unique nature reserve with its own market garden and four special spaces where you can organize an event. That is something fundamentally different. Coming together, eating, sleeping, or simply being here, is an event in itself.

Every booking always includes our honest food. Grown ourselves in our own market garden. Our food connects our mission with our guests.

After a day full of impressions, dream away in our Tiny house, in an off-grid cabin, or glamping tent. Cozily furnished with softly made beds.

Frequently asked questions about the Boskamer

The Boskamer is our outdoor location, protected by the canopy and two waterproof stretch tents.

A stretch tent of 9 by 12 meters stands among the trees, with a second one of 10 by 15 meters on an open field. Under the tents, you are protected from rain and sun, yet you can still hear the wind, the birds, and the forest. Fire pits, a wood-fired pizza oven, and an outdoor kitchenette make it a complete outdoor experience.
The Boskamer is designed for changeable weather, with two waterproof stretch tents and protection from the canopy.

Rain adds atmosphere rather than hindering the place. Even during heavy showers, the location remains functional for meals, ceremonies, and dinners under the stretch tents. In case of extreme weather, we switch to an indoor location in consultation. A warm coat, sturdy shoes, and possibly boots remain welcome on the path leading to it.
The Boskamer is available from May through September.

The Boskamer is available from May through September. In the winter months, an outdoor location is less suitable for longer meetings. We recommend the Boskamer in spring, summer, and early autumn, when the woods are at their richest. In October, the leaves change color, making the place particularly beautiful. If the temperature allows, we can extend the season in consultation. For winter, we move to Slot Roggebot.
The Boskamer has a wood-fired pizza oven, a BBQ, and an outdoor kitchenette.

Our chefs cook here on an open fire, in the pizza oven, or on the BBQ. Dinners at long tables in the beech avenue work particularly well after a day in the forest. The combination of foraging, our own harvest, and fire makes this place ideal for summer celebrations, retreat dinners, and special gatherings with a culinary focus.
The Boskamer can be booked on its own or in combination with another location.

For a dinner in the forest, a celebration, or a day program, you can reserve the Boskamer standalone during the season from May to October. In combination with Slot Roggebot or the Tipi, you have extra space for overnight stays, sessions, and additional program components, ideal for multi-day retreats and corporate programs. For larger events, exclusive hire of the entire nature estate is possible, allowing you to host a different part of your program at each location.
The Boskamer is rented per day, not per half-day.

A day in the Boskamer standardly runs from 12:00 PM to 11:00 PM, or until 10:00 AM the next morning with an overnight stay. A half-day or a few hours is not possible: the place is designed for groups that take the time for their program, their food, and their conversation. For an initial introduction or to explore the site, we are happy to schedule a tour by appointment.
