We manage a unique 52-hectare nature reserve near Dronten. We place meaning above commercial interests and give back what we receive: the profit we make is reinvested in nature.
Our focus is on connection, with attention to detail and beauty in every experience. With this, we want to touch people who are looking for a location that goes beyond the everyday. Or is it actually back to what used to be the everyday?
Culinary event
Food connects. If that applies anywhere, it’s here. Not only with each other, but also with nature, where our honest food comes from. Treat yourself to a special working lunch or business dinner according to our Farm to Table philosophy.
Supported by the unique character of our Greenhouse, the Forest Room, or the Castle, including a tour of our market garden, a workshop of your choice and, if possible, a campfire moment.

One-day event
Between the trees, flower meadows and vegetable gardens, daily hecticness makes way for focus. Away days, team building, annual meetings, offsites and strategy sessions are taken to a higher (sharper!) level in an environment where nature determines the agenda and the menu.
While you are working with full focus, we take care of you with everything Yūgen Forest has to offer: honest (and delicious) food, breakout walks and relaxation by the campfire.

Multi-day event
Do you really want to go deeper, take the time to integrate insights, realize change processes, or a program with several varied components? Then you are more than welcome to stay overnight with us as well. In addition, we can enrich your event with many extras such as additional guidance, workshops and wellness: for more depth, inspiration and relaxation.

Yūgen Forest is a place for connection – with yourself, with nature and with others. It is designed for meaningful, transformative and healing gatherings, with a focus on regeneration and awareness. From business retreats with a focus on nature contact and leadership, to truffle, yoga, meditation, breathwork and silence retreats. Let nature work for you and your participants, choose the location that fits your program and intention and we will take care of the rest.

Customization
Do you want to organize your own festival, a special conference, a diverse program with multiple groups, external guides and facilitators, custom work with multiple locations and overnight stays, or something really, really different? The possibilities are endless. In addition to locations, we also offer many additional activities, so we are happy to think along with you.
A complete experience
Yūgen Forest is not a standard event location. It is a unique nature reserve with its own market garden and four special spaces where you can organize an event. That is something fundamentally different. Coming together, eating, sleeping, or simply being here, is an event in itself.
Honest food
Every booking always includes our honest food. Grown ourselves in our own market garden. Our food connects our mission with our guests.
Sleep
After a day full of impressions, you can dream away in our tiny house, in our cabins, or glamping tents. Cosily furnished with softly made beds.
