Slot Roggebot is the warm heart of Yūgen Forest. On the edge of the forest, overlooking flower meadows and our orchard. Entirely ecologically built, with a homely atmosphere.

The Slot is suitable for strategic sessions, team days and retreats for small to medium-sized groups. The location offers several flexible spaces: an intimate tower room with a unique skylight, a cozy living room with a large dining table, fireplace, a snug back room, and a spacious outdoor terrace with a large fire pit. Here, indoors and outdoors blend seamlessly.

Yūgen Forest is not a standard event location. It is a unique nature reserve with its own market garden and four special spaces where you can organize an event. That is something fundamentally different. Gathering, eating, sleeping, or simply being here is an event in itself.

Frequently asked questions about Slot Roggebot

Slot Roggebot is available year-round, including the winter months.

It is our only location accessible year-round for groups of up to 20 people (lying down) and 50 people (seated) as a standalone retreat space. In the summer months, we often combine the Slot with the Tipi, Greenhouse, or Forest Room. With a homely atmosphere, fireplace, and outdoor terrace, the Slot works just as well in summer as in winter.
Slot Roggebot has four flexible indoor spaces, totaling 350 m², and a huge outdoor terrace.

The tower room with its skylight supports sessions and ceremonies in an intimate setting. The living room with a large dining table and fireplace is the heart for dinners and conversations. The back room serves as a quiet retreat. The large mezzanine works as a breakout space or extra dining area. The outdoor terrace with picnic tables, lounge chairs, and a large fire pit connects the indoors and outdoors.
Slot Roggebot accommodates groups of up to 50 people.

For seated use at tables or in a session setup, we count up to 40 people comfortably, but for receptions, we can handle larger numbers. In good weather, there is also plenty of space outside for larger groups. For smaller retreats of up to 20 people, the Slot works excellently as a standalone location year-round. For larger groups, we combine it with other locations on the property.
Slot Roggebot does not have sleeping quarters, but it does function as a ceremonial retreat space with mattresses available on request.

Overnight stays take place in the cabins, glamping tents, or the tiny house on the edge of the nature reserve. Accommodations cannot be booked separately (exception: tiny house) and are always part of a program. For retreats, we can provide mattresses, fitted sheets, blankets, meditation cushions, bolsters, zabutons, backrests, and yoga mats in the Slot for a session.
Slot Roggebot is rented per day, not per half-day.

A day at the Slot typically runs from 12:00 PM to 11:00 PM, or until 10:00 AM the following morning for overnight stays. A half-day or a few hours is not possible: the place is designed for groups that take the time for their program, their food, and their conversations. For an initial introduction or to explore the site, we are happy to schedule a tour by appointment.
